Along the streets, careful consideration has been given to the verge planting, including mature canopy spread of the trees and the proposed street lighting to soften the streetscene and built form.
Parking
The parking courts proposed for the apartments have also been designed with landscaped boundary and to be broken up with some planting, and use of different hard landscaping materials, to soften and provide visual interest to these spaces.
A mix of tree species and maturity is proposed to ensure variety across the site.
Play space
Formal and informal play space will also be provided throughout the site.
The landscaping proposals have also been considered alongside the highways and drainage layout.
Landscape Design
The landscaping proposals for this site seek to respond to the different character areas proposed, and build on the successful landscaping principles established as part of Phase 1 and Phase 2.
