Ashmere’s Urban Design: Gateway and Character Areas
The proposed scheme comprise three parcels bisected by the fast track route all of which fall within the Urban Ashmere character area. The scheme delivers four storey apartment blocks bookending the corner of the parcel on either side of the fast track corridor, creating a gateway character.
The central and southern portion of the site is characterised by a series of three storey mews houses and detached dwellings which define the lower density character and relationship to the Cliffside living character area established under phase 2 of the development.
